Bring in the Shamrocks

Shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day in Home Decor

Happy St. Patrick's Day! The day isn't complete without a few lucky shamrocks, so I searched for and found these gorgeous plants at a local garden nursery and fell in love with
their different colors and shapes. Taking a few treasures home, I planted them in pots and compotes, perfect for home decor in celebration of this lucky day.

Here, I've combined a "lucky clover" (a true green, purple center clover plant called Oxalis tetraphylla) with a neon green sedum variety (Makinoi Ogon). The colors are vibrant together. Placed in a vintage clay pot with zig-zag detail.

The four leaves on this oxalis give it the nickname "lucky clover". Its leaves close at night and open during the day.

To a table in my foyer, I brought in a calcified terra cotta pot with succulents, a soft green compote, and my trusty clover herbarium. Easy DIY Clover Herbarium directions here!
