My favorite thing about Cinco de Mayo decorations is the boldness and richness of the colors. From hot pink to bright blue and every color in between, a few pops of florescent color can turn a neutral space into a festive one!

Lemons for Spring
I can't help but smile when admiring this still life, "Branch of Lemons", by Claude Monet. Its vibrant yellows and weightless quality says it all for spring. Whenever I find something so inspiring, it makes me think about how to incorporate the theme into my home. Planting lemon trees in old terra cotta pots, giving pops of yellow to my decor (via pillows, throws, flowers), or even attempting my own oil painting of a lemon branch are a few ideas this masterpiece creates. What a way to be inspired :)
